Hampton - Mary Jane Johnson

Mary Jane Johnson Hampton was born July 31, 1844 near New Market, Indiana. She was the daughter of Nancy Jane and Presley Day Johnson.
In 1864 on September 25th she was united in marriage to John Calvin Hampton who died in August of 1919. To their union eleven children were born, two of whom preceded them in death.
One sister, Mrs. Narcissus REEVES of Los Angeles, California, survives.
Very early in life Mary Jane became a member of the Christian church in which she was always a very faithful member.
She has been a loving and faithful wife and mother.
While she is gone from us, yet we know that she is with the “living Christ.”
